Texas Health Fort Worth on Local Newscasts
A story about Christy Daae, nurse supervisor in the emergency department at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, earning a Hometown Hero honor from the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and a ride in an F-16 jet at Fort Worth Alliance Airport was expected to be featured on KXAS-TV (Ch. 5), KDFW-TV (Ch. 4), WFAA-TV (Ch. 8), KTVT-TV (Ch. 11), and KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). Daae was nominated for the Hometown Hero program by Fort Worth firefighters impressed with her heroic actions in helping two children who were drowning in a neighborhood pool in North Fort Worth in August.

Chan discussed a recent study that found caffeinated coffee can sometimes cause vision loss. The study states that heavy consumption of caffeinated coffee is tied to an elevated risk of developing a specific type of glaucoma.
