Texas Health Resources in Dallas Morning News

A front-page story in Oct. 14 editions of The Dallas Morning News on area hospital construction projects included comments by Barclay Berdan, chief operating officer and senior executive vice president of Texas Health Resources. The article mentioned the recent opening of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford was recently featured on KTVT (Ch.11). The segment featured the Teddy Bear Clinic hosted by the Emergency Department for 115 kindergarten students from a local elementary school.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle was recently featured in an article that ran in the Azle News. The article discussed the hospital being named a Top Performer by the Joint Commission for 2011.

Texas Health Arlington Memorial on KTVT-TV

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital was featured in a breast cancer story on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11). Dr. Scott Fleischauer, a medical oncologist on the hospital’s medical staff, was interviewed, along with a male breast cancer patient suffering from advanced stage four breast cancer. Fleischauer talked about the importance of men getting checked for breast cancer, along with women.
