Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas’ Center for SAFE Healing (Sexual Assault Forensic Exam) was recently featured on the front page of The Dallas Morning News. The article highlighted local advocates seeking to expand access to hospital rape exams to aid in the prosecution of sexual assault cases. Texas Health Dallas is one of only two of Dallas County’s 46 hospitals offering forensic exams, and the only one in North Texas with SAFE rooms and certified sexual assault nurse examiners who provide comprehensive care to victims of abuse.
