Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth were mentioned on the front page of the Tarrant & Texas section of in Oct. 29 editions of the Star-Telegram. The story focused on babies being born with addictions. Dr. Glenn Hardesty, an emergency physician, and Dr. Vivek Mehta, Pain Management medical director, are both physicians on the medical staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial and were quoted. Both physicians explained that the percentage of babies born addicted to painkillers was small for Tarrant County, but the trend was growing at an alarming rate across the nation.
