Kate’s mother was one of the first to use Kangaroo Mother Care at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and her case helped influence caregivers to use the method with moms and babies moving forward. Dr. David Turbeville, neonatologist on the medical staff, was quoted.
