Area media covered “Dr. Oz’s 15 Min. Physicals” on Jan. 19 at Cowboys Stadium. The event featured TV personality Dr. Mehmet Oz. About 800 attendees were given 15-minute physical exams by volunteer caregivers, many from Texas Health Resources, which co-sponsored the event with WFAA-TV (Ch. 8). The event was also covered by The Dallas Morning News.

This week’s Fort Worth Business Press reported that Marilyn Peterson, director of continuing medical education at Texas Health Research & Education Institute, was been named to Fellow status in the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
