This week’s Fort Worth Business Press featured the recognition of Texas Health Resources physician leaders by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. Dr. Ferdinand Velasco, chief health information officer, and Dr. Luis Saldaña, associate chief medical information officer, received the society’s annual Book of the Year Award for 2012.
