DuBois was one of three Texas nurses, and the first in Dallas, to be recognized by The American Nurse Project, a national initiative to celebrate the nursing profession through photographs and stories. The website also recognized Texas Health Dallas nurses Lisa Dierschke-Stone, Thao P. Nguyen and hospital CNO Cole Edmonson for bringing to life the Texas Health Dallas Nurse Project, a hospital-based project inspired by The American Nurse Project.
