  • Linda Boysen, a licensed clinical social worker at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne, was named Social Worker Humanitarian of the Year.
  • Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth has been accredited with Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care.

Dallas Morning News features Texas Health Dallas program

The movement disorders dance class, offered at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was featured in today’s Healthy Living section of the Dallas Morning News. Misty Owens, class instructor, described how the movements choreographed in dance routines can be used in simple movements at home while Dr. Aanchal Taneja, movement disorder specialist at Texas Health Dallas, discussed why these movement strategies help patients, particularly those diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Meeting between young kidney recipients and donor’s family at Texas Health Fort Worth featured on WFAA

A story on WFAA (Ch. 8) last night featured the first-time meeting of two young kidney recipients and the organ donor’s parents at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. The meeting took place before the hospital’s annual Wall of Life ceremony honoring those who have given life through organ donation. View the story here.
