Sunday’s edition of the Dallas Morning News featured new technology benefitting the families in the NICU at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. Dr. Gerald Nystrom, medical director of the NICU, and Christine Brooks, nurse manager, discussed the addition of the Peek-A-Boo cameras and how they help families stay connected to their babies 24 hours a day. A new mom and grandmother talked about the peace of mind they have knowing they can check in on the baby and share in his milestones with other family members who don’t live nearby.
