Texas Health TAPE Award in DFWHC Interlocutor

The current issue of The Interlocutor, the publication of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, features Texas Health Resources’ selection as a recipient of the Texas Award for Performance Excellence from Quality Texas Foundation. Texas Health was one of two organizations to receive the award for 2013, and the only heath care organization recognized.

Texas Health Dallas’ SANE nurses featured in local paper

A story featuring nurses from the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas appeared in Friday’s Dallas Morning News’ NeighborsGo Richardson print edition. The article recognized SANE nurses for their forensic work that led to the identification and apprehension of a suspected serial perpetrator involved in three recent sexual assault cases. IEEM at Texas Health Dallas recognized in D Healthcare Daily

The Institute of Exercise and Environmental Medicine’s Hyperbaric Unit at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas was featured in the accolades section of D Healthcare Daily. The IEEM’s hyperbaric chamber is one of the largest in North Texas and recently achieved national accreditation with distinction from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Texas Health Dallas president featured in HealthLeaders

In the May issue of HealthLeaders magazine, Britt Berrett, Ph.D., president of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, took part in a panel discussion on the topic of whether organized labor is seen as a threat in the health care industry. Click here to read the article.

 Bob Ellzey, president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle, was quoted in a recent article in the Azle News that featured the annual Auxiliary luncheon. Several hospital volunteers were recognized for their service.
