Gentle C-section option at Texas Health hospitals featured in Star-Telegram

An article on the front page of the Star-Telegram metro section today highlights a new birth option offered at Texas Health Resources hospitals in Fort Worth, Cleburne and Hurst-Euless-Bedford called “gentle C-section.” The method involves giving mom and baby skin-to-skin contact immediately after birth. Dr. Ruth Wiley, OB/GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, and Kathleen Donaldson, certified nurse midwife at Texas Health Fort Worth, were interviewed. Texas Health Arlington Memorial in FWBP

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital was featured in the Fort Worth Business Press for a new medical office building on the hospital’s campus. The Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital Medical Office Building will house medical providers that offer cardiac services, cancer treatment, orthopedic services and a senior care clinic. Dr. Joseph Borrelli, orthopedic department chair at Texas Health Arlington Memorial, and Dr. David Lee, an internal medicine physician on the hospital’s medical staff, are mentioned.
