PHD Ophthalmologist in Dallas Morning News

The Nov. 18 Healthy Living section of The Dallas Morning News included a story about how diet can affect eye health. Dr. Dwain Gordon Fuller, an ophthalmologist and retinal specialist at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, talked about age-related macular degeneration, the leading cause of vision loss in people 65 and older. Recent ongoing studies suggest that certain antioxidants, such as omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins and minerals, can play an important role in eye health.

Dr. Sheila Chhutani, an OB/GYN at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, appeared on KDAF-TV (Channel 33) in a story about a fertility statue that some claim can help women get pregnant by touching it. Chhutani said there's no scientific or medical evidence that suggests it could help women get pregnant, but it may give hope to couples having fertility problems.
