Blue Zone project in Fort Worth Business Press
This week’s Fort Worth Business Press features the Aug. 20 presentation to the Fort Worth City Council on the Blue Zone Project. Texas Health Resources and Healthways are collaborating to apply the Blue Zone well-being methodology in Fort Worth. Texas Health’s Arlington Memorial, Fort Worth, HEB and Southwest featured in Star-Telegram
Several Texas Health Resources hospitals appeared in an article on the front page of the Star-Telegram’s Tarrant & Texas section. The story focused on delayed umbilical cord clamping. Dr. Sheri Puffer, an obstetrician and gynecologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, was interviewed. She discussed the benefits of delayed umbilical cord clamping in regard to newborns. Texas Health Fort Worth, HEB and Southwest hospitals were also mentioned. Texas Health Cleburne featured in Cleburne Times-Review
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne appeared on the front page of Sunday’s Cleburne Times-Review after a recent visit by U. S. Rep. Roger Williams. Blake Kretz, hospital president, gave Williams a tour and concluded the visit with a discussion of health care legislation with Texas Health leaders.
