Texas Health Fort Worth, Dallas SANE programs in Star-Telegram

An article on the front page of the Star-Telegram’s metro section today discusses a new law requiring all emergency departments to have staff trained in collection of basic sexual assault evidence. Jamie Ramsey, nurse supervisor of the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, is featured in a photo slideshow and quoted about the need for the comprehensive program in the community along with Judy Horton, director of the emergency department.
