Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital was mentioned in today’s Fort Worth Star-Telegram in a story highlighting the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit reunion, taking place from 2 to 4 pm on Sept. 15. Texas Health Arlington Memorial has been sponsoring the annual NICU reunion for the past 29 years. Texas Health Arlington Memorial to be featured on KDAF, KDFW, KXAS and KXTX
We anticipate Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital being featured in stories highlighting two registered nurses for saving the life of a man exercising in the hospital’s fitness center. It will appear on KDFW (Ch. 4), KXAS (Ch. 5), KDAF (Ch. 33) and KXTX (Telemundo Ch. 39). Because of their heroic efforts, Brenda Doughty, cardiac rehabilitation manager, and Jane McNelis, oncology nurse navigator, were honored today by the Arlington Fire Department. Doughty, McNelis and Dr. Bill Nesbitt, cardiac electrophysiologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial, were interviewed.

Several Texas Health Resources hospitals were featured in Bob Miller’s column today in the Dallas Morning News. The article discussed the recent partnership between Texas Health and the Cancer Support Community North Texas. Thanks to a generous donation from the Cambridge Mindful Living Foundation, Cancer Support Community facilities will open on the campuses of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
