Texas Health Fort Worth cancer program’s Innovator Award highlighted in Star-Telegram
The Klabzuba Cancer Center at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth was highlighted in the Star-Telegram for receiving the National Association of Community Cancer Centers’ 2013 Innovator Award. The cancer program earned the award for removing common barriers to preventive health care screenings through its mobile health program, which provides mammograms, prostate cancer and skin cancer screenings, cardiovascular and bone density screenings, pelvic and breast exams and education out in the community where people live and work.
