Local concert pianist and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas patient and volunteer, Lucian Leinfelder, performed for the first time in 20 years in the hospital’s lobby yesterday. KTVT (Ch.11) spoke with both Lucian and his physician, Dr. Anna Tseng, neurologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Dallas, about his journey with Parkinson’s and how playing the piano helps with his condition. Texas Health Fort Worth cancer program’s Innovator Award highlighted in FWBP
The Klabzuba Cancer Center at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth was highlighted in the Fort Worth Business Press for receiving the National Association of Community Cancer Centers’ 2013 Innovator Award. The cancer program earned the award for removing common barriers to preventive health care screenings through its mobile health program, which provides mammograms, prostate cancer and skin cancer screenings, cardiovascular and bone density screenings, pelvic and breast exams and education out in the community where people live and work.
