Dr. Ken Adams, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, shared his tips for making exercise fun in today’s Healthy Living section of The Dallas Morning News. By simply playing outdoors with his children on bikes, trampolines and swings, Adams says he exceeds the recommended amount of weekly aerobic activity. Texas Health hospitals’ Medicare ratings in the news
Local media today reported ratings for 2014 Medicare reimbursements for North Texas hospitals. Medicare rated 22 hospitals that are part of Texas Health Resources, including some joint ventures. Of those, six will receive bonuses, five will receive neither a bonus nor a penalty, and nine hospitals will be penalized.
