The current issue of Interlocutor, the publication of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, features Texas Health Resources recognitions in a story on the organization’s Annual Award Luncheon. Texas Health CEO Doug Hawthorne presented the inaugural Kerney Laday Sr. Trustee Award to the Laday family, representing Kerney Laday Sr., Texas Health Board of Trustees chair who passed away in 2012. Additionally, Clint Abernathy, professional services officer for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance, and Sam Civello, vice president, physician practice operations for Texas Health Physicians Group, were recognized as nominees for the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year Award. Texas Health Dallas physician on KERA
KERA (90.1 FM) featured Dr. Gary Weinstein, pulmonologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, as he discussed the bronchial thermoplasty procedure for asthma patients. Texas Health HEB Cancer Center groundbreaking in D Healthcare Daily
D Healthcare Daily today reported that Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Texas Oncology-Bedford and Cambridge Holdings broke ground Friday on the Texas Health HEB Cancer Center.
