An overview of 2013 area health care construction in this week’s print edition of the Dallas Business Journal featured projects at two Texas Health Resources hospitals. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth's new $57.7 million emergency care center is scheduled to open in January. Additionally, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Texas Oncology-Bedford and Cambridge Holdings recently broke ground on a comprehensive cancer center that is scheduled to open in fall 2014.

Texas Health Cleburne in Times-Review

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne appeared in the Sunday Cleburne Times-Review in an article that discussed the announcement of the hospital’s new chief medical officer, Dr. Judy Laviolette. As CMO, Laviolette will oversee patient safety and promote clinical excellence throughout all departments at both Texas Health Cleburne and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle. Laviolette, Blake Kretz, Texas Health Cleburne president, and Lorrie Normand, chief nursing officer, were quoted.
