Texas Health Arlington Memorial's Cycle III Chest Pain Center Featured
Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital today became the first hospital in Texas and one of a handful worldwide to receive Cycle III Chest Pain Center accreditation by the Society for Chest Pain Centers. Kirk King, FACHE, president of Texas Health Arlington Memorial, was interviewed by KDFW-TV (Channel 4), KTVT-TV (Channel 11), WFAA-TV (Channel 8), KXAS-TV (Channel 5), KDAF-TV (Channel 33), KRLD-AM (1080) and WBAP-AM (820) for a story about the designation.
Dr. Hoyt Frenzel, medical director of the emergency department and co-chair of the Chest Pain Center, and Dr. Vinit Lal, medical director of cardiology and co-chair of the Chest Pain Center, were also interviewed during a press conference, and Dr. Frenzel was interviewed by Univision. A column about the designation ran today in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Lynn Glasser, PT, director of rehabilitation services at Texas Health Arlington Memorial, and Brenda Doughty, RN, program coordinator of cardiac rehabilitation, also were interviewed, as were several patients who are currently enrolled in cardiac rehabilitation classes.
