Dr. Tom Shires, chairman of surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was featured in a Jan. 9 story on KTVT-TV (Channel 11) about pancreatic cancer and leading treatments. The story included surgery footage of Shires performing a Whipple procedure and an interview with Shires discussing how effective the treatment is in treating the disease.
