Texas Health Dallas Featured in Storm Stories
Kendra Henderson, a nursing supervisor at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was part of a Jan. 27 story on KTVT-TV (Channel 11) news about professionals who have to be away from family during severe winter weather. The Dallas Morning News and KRLD-AM (1080) featured stories this morning about the dedication of Texas Health Dallas nurses who spent the night at the hospital to ensure they didn't miss their shifts because of icy roads. In all, 45 nurses slept at the hospital.
Texas Health Dallas Surgeon on Good Morning Texas
Dr. Kandice Kilbride, an oncology breast surgeon at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, recently appeared on WFAA-TV's Good Morning Texas. Kilbride spoke about risk factors for breast cancer and things women can do to lessen their risk of getting the disease.
