This week's issue of Modern Healthcare includes a story about Doug Hawthorne, THR's CEO, receiving the CEO IT Achievement Award. Hawthorne is one of three recipients from across the country, and the only recipient in Texas.

HMFW and HCCH in Star-Telegram

Phyllis Norman, R.N., vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, was featured in the June 8 edition of the Star-Telegram in a brief about recently being named Executive Woman of the Year by Zonta organization, an international service organization.

Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital was featured in the Star-Telegram in a June 6 story about regaining neurosurgery coverage.

Harris Methodist Continued Care Hospital was also featured in the June 8 Star-Telegram in a brief about the hospital’s recent Pathway to Excellence designation.

HMFW on WFAA-TV

Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital was featured on WFAA-TV (Channel 8) on June 5 in a brief story about regaining neurosurgery coverage.

Robert Stansel and HMSW in Star-Telegram

Robert Stansel, human resources director at Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital, was featured in the Star-Telegram on June 8 in a brief about his recent appointment to lead the hospital’s human resources department.

PHP physicians on NBC 5 and in Dallas Child

Dr. Peter Schochet, a pediatric pulmonologist at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, was interviewed for the weekly "Your Child's Health" segment on KXAS-TV (Channel 5). The story dealt with symptoms and treatment for asthma, which is often worse during hot summer months.

Dr. Son Giep, an internal medicine physician at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, was interviewed for a story in the June issue of Dallas Child regarding health tests for men.

PHA mentioned in recent story in Plano Star Courier

A story in the June 8 edition of the Plano Star Courier regarding this Saturday's annual Susan G. Komen North Texas Race for the Cure mentions that Presbyterian Hospital of Allen will be one of the fundraiser's grant recipients.
