The Plano Star-Courier featured a front-page article on the retirement of Phil Wentworth as president of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano and the subsequent promotion of Dr. Jeffrey Canose from COO to president. The story quoted both men and included a photo taken at Wentworth's hospital retirement party. The Kaufman Herald featured a story on the prevalence of the flu that quoted Mark Sanders, R.N., emergency department director and Dr. Jeral Ahtone, a physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman.

The Herald also ran a story about how to mitigate the effects of daylight saving time, which starts Sunday. Dr. Mark Sij, a physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Kaufman, was quoted.
