The most recent issue of the Collin County Business Press featured a Q&A designated "In the Boardroom" with Dr. Jeffrey Canose, new president of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. Canose became president earlier this month, upon the retirement of Phil Wentworth.

Texas Health Dallas Nuclear Medicine Chief on WFAA-TV

Dr. Patrick Barr, chief of nuclear medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was the medical expert in a March 8 story on WFAA-TV (Channel 8). Barr spoke about the use of SPECT imaging to diagnose attention deficit disorder and other neurological conditions. Barr said the imaging technology is an important diagnostic tool for many brain conditions, but studies have not shown that it can accurately diagnose ADD.

Texas Health Fort Worth on KTXA-TV and KTVT-TV

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth was featured March 9 on KTVT-TV (Channel 11) and KTXA-TV (Channel 21) in a story about women having babies in this economy. Kathleen Donaldson, certified nurse midwife at Texas Health Fort Worth, was interviewed for this story and said she had not seen a decrease in pregnancies.
