Jones talked about the hypothermia therapy they used to save this man’s life, a therapy that is saving many lives each year.

This week's Dallas Business Journal features a photo of the hospice unit open house at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. Larry Olive, vice president of operations, and Tony Su, medical director of the unit, were pictured.

The issue also mentions Donna Bertram, R.N., M.B.A., N.E.A.-B.C., F.A.A.N., vice president and chief nursing officer, for being selected to receive the Organizational Innovation Award for Nurse Executives by the American Organization of Nurse Executives.

Jeanette Duric, R.N., M.S.N., C.C.R.N., a clinical education specialist at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas appeared on KTVT-TV (Channel 11) on March 17. Duric and her team — including Cassie Rawson, CPR Program Manager at the Finley Ewing Cardiovascular & Fitness Center, and Caleb Newman, an exercise technician at the fitness center — taught parents how to administer CPR and prevent choking tragedies in children during story time at a local library.
