Dr. Sheila Chhutani, an OB-GYN on the medical staff at Texas Heath Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, appeared on KTVT-TV (Channel 11) in a story about the North Texas baby boom. The birth rate at Texas Health Dallas is at an all-time high.

Texas Health Dallas President on Local Web Sites, the Web site for The Dallas Morning News, and, the Web site for the Dallas Business Journal, recently covered the announcement that Texas Health Dallas President Mark Merrill will be leaving the Texas Health system to become president and chief executive officer of Valley Health, a five-hospital health system in Winchester, Va.

Texas Health Stephenville in Stephenville Empire-Tribune, Hico News Review

The Stephenville Empire-Tribune and Hico News Review both recently featured a story about Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville being selected as one of three hospitals in Texas named a Baby-Friendly Hospital by the World Health Organization. Devra LeFevre, R.N., director of nursing for women and children, Jennifer McMeens, clinical educator, and Christopher Leu, hospital president, were quoted.

Texas Health Cleburne in Cleburne Times-Review

The Cleburne Times-Review featured a story on March 29 about Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne's three nurses named to the Great 100 Nurses list. Nurses recognized are Jackie Laws, R.N., obstetrics nursing supervisor, Susie Morrison, R.N., lactation consultant, and Carol Olivier, R.N., infection control practitioner, were recognized in the article. Hospital president Blake Kretz also was quoted.

The paper also featured a story with tips on how to eat healthy when pregnant that quoted Dr. Steven Farzam, a physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Cleburne.
