Texas Health Southwest on KXAS-TV

A story about Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth employees walking to support the National Heart Association's National Start! Walking Day is scheduled to appear on KXAS-TV (Channel 5) on April 8. Brett McClung, the hospital's president, Mary Robinson, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer, and Dan Perrine, manager of the cardiopulmonary department, were interviewed.

Texas Health Arlington Memorial in ADVANCE for Nurses Magazine

Donna Bertram, vice president and chief nursing officer of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, was featured in this month's ADVANCE for Nurses magazine. Bertram has been selected to receive the Organizational Innovation Award for Nurse Executives by the American Organization of Nurse Executives.

Texas Health Plano on KTVT-TV

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano was featured on the April 7 evening newscasts on KTVT-TV (Channel 11) for its "dunking booth" event, during which hospital managers braved chilly weather to be dunked by employees to raise funds for the March of Dimes.

Texas Health Fort Worth on KDAF-TV

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth was featured on KDAF-TV (Channel 33) in an April 7 news story about a compassion fatigue study the hospital was conducted to help care for our nurses. Bill Wood, director of pastoral care, and Anne Janes, emergency room nurse, were interviewed.

Texas Health Dallas on KVIL-FM

Della Wrightson, R.N., a clinical nurse specialist in the neonatal intensive care unit at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed March 29 on KVIL-FM (103.7). The interview, which aired during the station's The Kids' Doctor program, highlighted the this year's March of Dimes campaign and the work of clinicians in the NICU at Texas Health Dallas.
