Texas Health Resources was again named to Computerworld’s Best Places to Work in Information Technology (IT) list. Texas Health ranked No. 48 on the nationwide survey, and was the only North Texas health care provider named to the list. The magazine cited Texas Health’s innovative development programs for IT professionals. The list appears in the magazine’s June 15 issue and on Computerworld.com.

Texas Health Resources and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth were featured last night on the KDAF-TV (Channel 33) in a story about the company’s and hospital’s commitment to our employees’ health. Karen Robeano, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Texas Health Fort Worth, was interviewed Also interviewed were Dorothy Crayton, a 42-year employee at Texas Health Fort Worth, and Breann Gammons and Johanna Heppler, cardiac ICU nurses at Texas Health Fort Worth.
Texas Health Plano Neurosurgeon on KTVT-TV
Dr. Rob Dickerman, a neurosurgeon on the medial staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, was featured in a story yesterday on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11). Dickerman spoke about a new type of GPS technology that uses an MRI of the patient's brain to help neurosurgeons better map the brain before and during surgery. The computer shows surgeons the safest, most direct route to brain tumors.
