HMSW's sickle cell initiative featured in Fort Worth Business Press

Linda Humphries, clinical nurse specialist and Mary Robinson, vice president of patient care services at Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital were featured in the Fort Worth Business Press. The article discusses the task force and city-wide collaboration Humphries and Robinson initiated to address the gap in care for adults with sickle cell disease.

HMWR education coordinator's mission work featured in Cleburne Times-Review

Melody Ball, education coordinator at Harris Methodist Walls Regional Hospital (HMWR), was featured in the Cleburne Times-Review in a June 22 story about her mission work in Africa. Blake Kretz, president of HMWR, was also quoted.

PHD's Fulgham featured in DMN Education Notes

Dr. Pat Fulgham, surgical director of oncology at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, is featured in The Dallas Morning News' Education Notes on June 23 for receiving the American Urological Association's 2008 Distinguished Service Award. Fulgham received the award for developing AUA's National Urologic Ultrasound Education Program at PHD to train urologists and urology residents on how to use ultrasound.

PHD's Sherry recognized in DMN

Dr. Cynthia Sherry, chairwoman of radiology at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, is featured in Bob Miller's June 23 column in The Dallas Morning News. Miller recognizes Sherry for being elected president of the American College of Physician Executives. Sherry, who is president of the Texas Radiological Society, is past president of the PHD medical staff and former chairwoman of the Physician Leadership Council for Texas Health Resources.
