Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation in Park Cities People

Park Cities People featured a story about a new scholarship endowment held by Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation, called the David E. Patton, M.D. Scholarship Endowment in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Patton was a well-respected and beloved perinatologist on the medical staff of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. He was recently honored by one of his patients through the creation of the endowment after his sudden passing at the end of 2008. The story highlights how patients, physicians and colleagues from coast-to-coast have raised more than $50,000 to support nursing scholarships.

Nurses Recognized in KPLX-FM (99.5) Promotion

Radio station KPLX-FM (99.5 “The Wolf”) is beginning a month-long promotion August 31 to recognize the outstanding contributions of nurses to health care in North Texas.

Special Featuring Texas Health Fort Worth, Cleburne and Dallas on WFAA-TV

WFAA (Channel 8) will air a special about Texas Health Resources hospitals. The special will feature patient stories from Fort Worth, Cleburne and Dallas. It is scheduled to run at 11 a.m. on Aug. 30.
