Texas Health Hospitals in Star-Telegram
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne were mentioned in the Star-Telegram for being top performing Fort Worth-area hospitals in all three areas measured by QUEST: High Performing Hospitals. Year 1 results of the nationwide hospital collaborative show that the hospitals performed in the top quartile for mortality reduction, cost of care and delivery of evidence-based care.
Texas Health Dallas on KTVT-TV
Dr. Kandice Kilbride, an oncology breast surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, appeared in a news story on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11). Kilbride spoke about a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association that examines the effectiveness of cancer screenings.
