The Cleburne Times-Review featured two stories about Harris Methodist Walls Regional Hospital on June 29. The first featured photos highlighting the recent Nursing Quality Awards given by the hospital. The second article focused on the history of the annual Black and White Gala and how raised funds were used in previous years. The 2008 Gala will raise funds to help purchase a digital mammography unit for the hospital.
Exhibit at PHD's Perot Center featured in local paper
The July 27 edition of Preston Hollow People includes a story about the photo exhibit recently donated to the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation by photographer Kimberly Wylie. The exhibit, entitled "The Walls and Halls of Hope," features children born at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. The donated artwork lines the halls of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the Margot Perot Center for Women and Infants at PHD and in the main hallway in the Perot lobby. Ben Casey, president of PHF, is quoted in the story.

New neonatal ICU at HMSW featured on WFAA-TV and KXAS-TV
The family with the first baby in Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital's new neonatal ICU was featured at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. July 1 on WFAA-TV (Channel 8). Karen Kimberling, unit manager of the NICU, was also interviewed. KXAS-TV (Channel 5) included still photos of the new NICU and Kellie Monger, R.N. with the baby in its report.
