We anticipate seeing a story on Nov. 11 on WFAA-TV (Ch. 8) about the importance of masks in the midst of a pandemic. John Gaida, senior vice president of supply chain management, was interviewed about how Texas Health Resources is proactive in having a supply of masks available in the event of a pandemic. Gaida emphasized that Texas Health plans according to anticipated use and that one benefit to being part of a system is our ability to deploy resources when and where they are most needed.

The Plano Star Courier featured a front-page article on Nov. 8 regarding Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano adding psychiatric services for adults to its full range of adolescent psychiatric services provided at the hospital’s Seay Behavioral Health Center. A similar article was featured on neighborsgo.com. Quoted in both articles were Gayle Jensen-Savoie, Ph.D., director of the Seay Behavioral Health Center, and Dr. Nancy Donachie, chairman of the department of psychiatry and medical director of the Seay Behavioral Health Center.
