The Plano Star Courier featured a story on June 28 regarding Presbyterian Hospital of Plano's recent accreditation by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer as an “approved cancer program” and quoted oncology program manager Carinsa Gaston. The same edition also included a photo of PHP's recent hospital-wide celebration thanking employees for their part in the hospital's designation as a 2008 Texas Award for Performance Excellence recipient.
Two PHD experts featured in national child magazine
The June issue of American Baby magazine includes a story about mom-and-baby bonding. Jeannette Crenshaw, R.N., MSN, a researcher at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and clinical education specialist for The Center for Learning at Texas Health Resources, is quoted in the article. The story appears on parents.com. The magazine’s June issue also features Dr. Frances Crites, an OB-GYN at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Crites discusses the importance of exercise during pregnancy.
