Texas Health Plano in Dallas Morning News, Plano Star Courier

A Nov. 22 article on the front page of The Dallas Morning News included interviews with two patients who visited Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano for breast imaging tests, as well as a photo of a patient at the Sue A. de Mille Women’s Diagnostic Center. The story was about reactions to revised mammogram recommendations, released last week by the U. S. Preventive Services Task Force.

A Nov. 22 column in The Dallas Morning News and a front-page in the Plano Star Courier featured last week’s birthday celebration for and portrait unveiling of Jim Boswell, Texas Health Plano administrative director of physician services. The story also featured news regarding a recent outstanding achievement award, designated the “Jim Boswell Award,” presented to Boswell by Star Children’s Charity of Plano. Both included quotes by Dr. Jeffrey Canose, president of Texas Health Plano.

Liberty Miner, P.T., M.S., a physical therapist at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, was featured in Today in PT magazine in a story about excellence in physical therapy. Miner talked about being inspired by a particular patient's strong will and determination to recover.

Texas Health Dallas on WFAA-TV

Dr. Liesl Smith, an OB-GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed Nov. 20 on WFAA-TV (Ch. 8). Smith spoke about new recommendations about when and how often women should get Pap smear tests.
