The Star-Telegram reported in its Dec. 8 editions that state health officials are considering lifting a requirement that Texas emergency rooms have a physician on site, as long as a doctor can get there within 30 minutes. Wendell Watson, director of public relations for Texas Health Resources, was quoted.

The story was about his paper in the current edition of the American Journal of Cardiology. The study, which is co-authored by Dr. John Harper, a cardiologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Dallas, looks into whether nausea indicates what type of heart attack a patient is having.
