Dr. Hampton Richards, an OB-GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, appeared on KTVT-TV (Ch. 11) in a Dec. 18 story about treatments for post-partum depression. Some women in North Texas take placenta pills, claiming it helps their hormone levels stay even and keeps the "baby blues" away.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano were featured in last week’s Allen American in an article about five of this year’s recipients of the Top 25 Radiological Technologists in North Texas. Shannon Gutierrez, J.R. (Jody) Roberts, Monic Simpliciano and Kim Thieu from Texas Health Plano and Tam Nguyen from Texas Health Allen were presented the awards by the North Texas Radiologic Technologists Society.
