Bohn Allen, M.D., a surgeon and a member of the Board of Trustees at Arlington Memorial Hospital, was quoted in a July 8 Houston Chronicle article discussing the challenges Texas physicians face with declining Medicare reimbursement.
Declining reimbursement is leading many physicians to opt out of the Medicare program, leaving patients with fewer physicians to choose from.

Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital's adult sickle cell program was featured in the Star-Telegram on July 8. Mary Robinson, vice president of patient care services, and Linda Humphries, clinical nurse specialist, were both quoted.
