A March 7 story on KXAS-TV (Ch. 5) highlighted the Faith Community Nursing program that was started at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. Paulette Golden, manager of community health at Texas Health Fort Worth, was interviewed. The story also focused on a patient whose life was saved by the faith community nurses at his church who were in the right place at the right time.

Dr. Mitch Kuppinger, medical director of respiratory therapy at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, was featured in the Work Faces section of the Star-Telegram for receiving the Tarrant County Medical Society’s 2009 Arlington Physician of the Year award.
