The April 5 edition of NurseWeek magazine featured the new Heart & Vascular Wellness Program at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. The story included quotes from Sharon Hillgartner, R.N., WHNP-BC, manager of the program, and Dr. Khanh Hoang, a cardiologist on the hospital’s medical staff and co-medical director of the program.

Texas Health Plano on

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano was featured on in an article regarding the hospital’s sponsorship of a pilot fitness program at six Plano elementary schools. Texas Health Plano made a $55,000 grant to the Plano Independent School District Education Foundation to fund the project for two years. Dr. Jeffrey Canose, hospital president, was quoted.

Texas Health Fort Worth in Daily Skiff

The Daily Skiff reported that senior nursing student Kate Lunati was chosen from 150 applicants for a nursing position at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. Lunati, a student at TCU’s Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences, will work in the trauma ICU at Texas Health Fort Worth.
