Dr. Mark Till, chief of emergency medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed May 10 on WBAP-AM (820). He discussed a new wireless technology that instantly sends EKGs from paramedics to hospital computers and doctors' smart phones. The technology will help Texas Health Dallas further reduce door-to-balloon times and help prevent heart-muscle damage in patients suffering ST-elevated heart attacks.

Texas Health Plano Administrative Director in Dallas Morning News

An obituary in May 11 editions of The Dallas Morning News remembered the life of Jim Boswell, administrative director of physician services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. Boswell, who died May 8, was known as “Mr. Plano” for his many contributions to the Collin County community.

Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth in Nurses Lounge

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth was recognized in this month’s issue of Nurses Lounge magazine for its designation as an Acute Heart Failure Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Chris Lane, nurse manager in the emergency department, was quoted.
