This week’s Fort Worth Business Press reported that Texas Gov. Rick Perry named Ed Marx, Texas Health Resources chief information officer, as chair of the Texas Health Services Authority. The issue also noted that Brett McClung, president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest Fort Worth, is a member of the inaugural Leadership North Texas Class of the North Texas Commission.

Dr. John Bertrand, an OB/GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed for a June 28 news story on KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). It looked into a new report that researchers have developed a simple blood test to predict when a woman will go through menopause.
