Dr. Luis Saldana, an emergency medicine physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed July 2 on KRLD-AM (1080). Saldana spoke about health and safety tips for families going on summer vacation. A new iPhone and smart phone application being deployed by Texas Health Resources, called iTriage, lets people check their medical symptoms and then be directed to the appropriate care. If someone needs a hospital, the application will lead them to the closest medical facility — even if they’re traveling across the country, driving through unfamiliar territory.

Texas Health Denton in Pilot Point Post-Signal

The Pilot Point Post-Signal recently ran a photo and brief about the 22nd annual EMS Provider Luncheon, hosted at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. The event celebrated Pilot Point EMS members and the crucial work they do that lays the groundwork for the treatment then provided by the hospital. Jeff Reecer, Texas Health Denton vice president of operations, was featured.
