Dr. John Bertrand, an OB-GYN on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, was interviewed July 16 on KDAF-TV (Ch. 33). He spoke about a new study that suggests a woman’s body type and where she carries excess weight might impact memory and other neurological functions.

Texas Health Arlington Memorial in Star-Telegram

A new community health program initiated by Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital and the City of Arlington was featured in July 18 editions of the Star-Telegram. The program, “Choose Health,” aims to educate participants on healthy lifestyle habits. Denice Taylor, registered dietitian at the hospital, was featured teaching a class on how to lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks.

Texas Health Fort Worth in Fort Worth Business Press

Karen Mallett, P.T., director of therapy services, fitness and occupational health at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, was interviewed for a story in this week’s Fort Worth Business Press about the new physical therapy program for students now available in Fort Worth.
