Texas Health Plano in Plano Star-Courier

The Plano Star-Courier featured Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano’s new SpineAssist surgical robot, one of three in the United States and the only one in Texas, in its July 29 edition. Robot co-designer Dr. Isador Lieberman, an orthopedic and spinal surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano and the Texas Back Institute, and Sara Misuraca, program director of the Scoliosis and Spine Tumor Center at Texas Health Plano, were quoted, as well as a patient and her mother.

The story also appeared on news websites, including Applied Clinical Trials Online, MedicalNewsToday.com and Robotics.TMCnet.com.

Texas Health HEB on ESPN

ESPN featured a patient story from Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford on its E:60 program on July 27. Dr. Jeffrey Peebles, a physician on the medical staff, was interviewed.

Texas Health Fort Worth in Star-Telegram

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth’s Level II trauma status was mentioned in a July 29 article in tje Star-Telegram. The article ran in conjunction with Cook Children’s Medical Center being accredited as a Level II Trauma Center.

Texas Health Azle in Azle News

An article in the Azle News discussed the use of the Vial of Life program by first responders in the Azle community. The life-saving medication bottles can be transported to the hospital with a patient to provide vital medical information. Marsha Ingle, community relations specialist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle, was interviewed.

A July 28 article in the Star-Telegram highlighted the new health and education center that is opening soon at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle.

Texas Health Resources in Keller Citizen, Star-Telegram
