Numerous news websites, including the Dallas Business Journal and Yahoo! News, featured a story today about Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen being the first hospital in Collin County to begin collecting cord blood for the Texas Cord Blood Bank. The story featured quotes from new mom and hospital patient Stacy Maughany, Texas Health Allen President Sheila McKinney and Carla Chila, director of Women and Infant Services at the hospital. Texas Health Allen is the 15th hospital in the state to join the network.
