This month’s Nurses’ Lounge magazine included a story about Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas becoming the first hospital in Texas — and only the third nationally — to be named a center of excellence for gynecological surgery by the American Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery. The recognition was given to Texas Health Dallas for its high volume of minimally-invasive women’s surgeries and superior patient outcomes. A segment on WFAA-TV's Good Morning Texas highlighted the Geriatric Hip Fracture program at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. Dr. Arvind Nana, orthopedic surgeon and medical director on the medical staff, and Kindra McWilliam-Ross, R.N., orthopedic clinical nurse specialist, were interviewed.
